Visa invitation
Foreign visitors are required to have an invitation letter from an official Chinese delegate before a visa may be issued. The host of the CBD 2009 is able to send you the required invitation letter. Please refer to the pdf file Visitor Information for further details.
How to arrive in Guangzhou
You can reach Guangzhou directly (non-stop) with European airlines such as Air France and Lufthansa or with other airlines via Beijing, Shanghai or Hong Kong. Air China and China Southern Airlines offer connecting flights to Guangzhou.
If you arrive at Hong Kong International Airport you can also travel by comfort busses directly from the airport to all Guangzhou 5-star hotels. The journey takes approx. 3 hours and is an amazing experience for first time visitors to get an impression of the urbanized area between Hong Kong and Guangzhou. Accommodation

Guangzhou International Convention & Exhibition Centre (GICEC), also known as the China Import & Export Fair Pazhou Complex, is located on Pazhou Island in the south-east of the city. You can easily reach the venue via Metro line no. 2 station Xingangdong Lu or Pazhou and access the venue. All official hotels will also provide you with shuttle bus services.
Pre-registration
You can pre-register as a CBD 2009 trade visitor through MEREBO for easy access. Please fill in the relevant information on page 5 of the Visitor Information pdf file. The prepared badges for pre-registered visitors will be available at the "Overseas Visitor" counter in the main entrance hall. Badges and admission to the trade show are free of charge.
On-site-registration
You do not need to pre-register for the exhibition before going to China. You can simply enter the venue and proceed to the "Overseas Visitor" counter. English speaking staff will support you if necessary. All visitors will receive visitor badges. Badges and admission are free of charge.
